Photo talk
The SDG Cell of department of Psychology CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus proudly announces "Photo Talk" - an innovative photography competition merging sustainability with visual storytelling. Through our theme "Threads of Life," we invite photographers to capture the essence of environmental consciousness and climate action using their smartphones.
This competition serves as a unique platform to showcase how sustainability interweaves with our daily lives. Your lens can document local environmental initiatives, capture moments of climate change impact, or highlight community-driven sustainable practices. Through these visual narratives, we aim to create meaningful dialogue about environmental challenges and solutions, directly supporting SDG 13 (Climate Action).
We are privileged to have esteemed judges Dr. Parashurama Kamath (Assistant Professor, Department of Media Studies) and Fr. Saji P. Mathew, OFM (Dean, Centre For Media Studies, Jyoti Nivas College). Their expertise will evaluate entries based on creativity, impact, and alignment with sustainable development goals. Winners will receive Fresheteria coupons, but more importantly, their work will contribute to a growing visual repository of climate action stories.
The competition's focus on smartphone photography ensures accessibility, emphasizing that everyone can be a catalyst for change. Each photograph submitted will help build awareness about climate action and inspire others to contribute to a sustainable future. Join us in this journey to capture sustainability and shape our collective future through the power of visual storytelling.
