Phoenix, The ED club BGR is organising a Guest talk on Sustaining and Growing Family Business on 18/2/25. Family businesses play a crucial role in economic development, creating jobs, and fostering entrepreneurship. However, sustaining and growing these businesses across generations presents unique challenges, including succession planning, governance, financial stability, and adapting to market changes. Growth requires continuous innovation, diversification, and strategic partnerships and preserving family values engrained in the organisation. This session will help students explore family business & its unique dynamics and challenges while providing valuable insights into succession planning, governance, and conflict resolution. It encourages innovation and adaptability in traditional business models, equipping students with strategies to sustain and expand their enterprises. The session led by Dr.Sheetal Thomas, Associate faculty, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad would shed light on managing the challenging task of sustaining and growing family business.
